Delicious food, a great place to relax and actually have a quiet conversation! Not the usual noisy restaurant , Max's is subtly cool - just enough buzz without the obnoxiously loud music and shouting that exists in most everyplace I go. Friendly and informative waitress even timed our courses appropriately, knowing we were 3 friends catching up. We weren't hurried along. Shrimp cocktail was the best I ever had, the ribeye was cooked perfectly, the bread assortment fresh from the oven, and my Tito's martini was extraordinary! The addition of some Bleu cheese stuffed olives really made it. Even the coffee was great! I'll be back. This could be my new favorite haunt!

Max Chophouse has always been my favorite neighborhood diversion. Virginia, Sara, and Jen always take great care of me and their NY Strip Steak with the sauce assortment is always on point.

Stopped in last Thursday while on a business trip to the Rochester area. Jen was my server and she was professional and very curious. Being a steak house I was pleasantly surprised to hear about you oyster and champagne promotion. The oysters were outstanding and my filet was cooked to perfection. You guys exceeded my expectations and I can't wait for my next Rochester. Thank you.
